Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for neurology and neurophysiology and the American Board of Internal Medicine for internal medicine, Dr. Anziska is the section chief for neuromuscular division at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center. He is the director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association clinic at SUNY-Downstate, treating both pediatric and adult patients.
Dr. Anziska is the associate program director for the Neurology residency at SUNY-Downstate, as well as the associate neurology clerkship director for the medical school. He teaches all years of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Dr. Anziska received his medical degree from SUNY-Downstate and completed a residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He finished his neurology residency at the Neurological Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He was a fellow in EMG and neuromuscular disorders at the same institution.
His research interests include exercise and quality of life in neuromuscular disease and developing outcome measures for muscular dystrophy.
