Dr. Michael Tamimi is a clinical neurologist specializing in head and facial pain at OBH. He is double board-certified in neurology and headache medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties. He maintains academic positions as Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at SUNY-Downstate and as adjunct faculty in the Department of Primary Care at Touro University. Dr. Tamimi has a particular interest in healthcare equity in NYC as it pertains to neurological care. He is currently leading an initiative to establish a headache center at the OBH Neuroscience Institute.
